The Liceu initiates a community production line with the aim of enabling, developing, and raising awareness among new audiences; and expanding realities; promoting diversification; and providing credibility and recognition to community-based artistic creation. As a cultural organization with 175 years of history, the Liceu leads with this project a significant challenge for the city and takes a step forward in its development towards an institution sensitive and attentive to the realities that occur in the midst of the third decade of the 21st century.

This project represents a transversal transformation of the institution that involves activating processes of participation and co-creation, as well as community synergies, promoting the social integration of the territory through artistic creation, bringing opera closer through active participation, and offering enriching experiences to Liceu professionals.

The project is intimately marked by the individuals and groups involved, by the socio-political and educational context, by the cultures that converge in a common space, by the process, and by artistic creation. From dramaturgy, musical and choral interpretation, to technical construction with a constant dialogue with professionals from different areas, all while ensuring artistic excellence.
