FAQs
How do I access the Theatre?
You can access the performances included in your subscription with either the physical card or the digital card (which you can download through the Personal Area). Both formats can be used throughout the season and offer the same functionality.
You can also print your tickets through the Personal Area. In this case, the physical and digital cards will be invalidated, and you must access using the downloaded tickets.
If you’ve changed the performance, you will need to enter with the downloaded ticket.
What should I do if I don't have my physical subscription card?
To access the Theatre, you can use the digital card or download the ticket for that day from your Personal Area.
If you don't have the physical card and would like to request a duplicate, you can do so through our website or directly at the box office. This service has a fee of €10 per card, and you will receive it at your home within a month and a half from the request date.
When will I become an LClub member?
The LClub distinction is awarded to subscribers who have been Liceu subscribers for more than twenty years without interruption.
These subscribers will enjoy exclusive benefits, which will be communicated throughout the artistic season.
Getting to know the Personal Area
Your personal space will allow you to check and manage any changes, ticket releases, or purchases, as well as download tickets or modified bookings.
It is divided into three sections:
- Subscription Area: You can view the details of your subscriptions (included performances, schedules, etc.) and change, print, or release your shows.
- Purchases: You can download purchased tickets or performance changes. If you have a gift voucher, you can download it here.
- Personal Information: You can update your personal details (except for your name and surname) and modify your contracting terms (GDPR).
How can I access the Personal Area?
- Go to www.liceubarcelona.cat
- Click on the Personal Area icon.
- Enter your email address.
- If you don’t remember your password, you can click on Forgot your password?.
- You will receive an email where you can set your desired password.
Can I buy more discounted tickets outside of my subscription?
Yes, you are entitled to a 15% discount on additional opera tickets and a 25% discount on additional tickets for symphonic concerts, recitals, and dance performances.
I have a subscription performance, but I want to see a different cast or change to another performance.
As a subscriber, you have different options to adjust your subscription to your needs or preferences:
In the Personal Area, you can change to another day of the same performance (available up to 24 hours before the performance date) or exchange it for another performance (up to 1 week before the performance date).
If you have two subscriptions, you will need to manage the changes individually, meaning you should first change one subscription and then the other.
Can I sell a ticket?
f it's a subscription ticket, you can put the seats you cannot use up for sale through the Free Seat service up to 24 hours before the performance date by accessing the Personal Area.
For the performances where you release your seat, and the Theatre is able to sell it, you will receive an email notifying you that it has been sold, and 50% of the price (minus VAT and management fees) will be refunded to the bank account used to pay for your subscription, no later than one month after the performance.
If the ticket is not sold, you can reclaim the seat up to 1 hour before the performance begins.
During the release process, you will need to set the price at which you want the ticket to be sold, keeping in mind that the maximum price is the general rate.
If it's a non-subscription ticket, it cannot be exchanged or canceled.
These actions can be done throught he Personal Area.
How can I give my ticket to someone else if I can't attend?
If you want to give the ticket to someone else, you can download the ticket through the Personal Area and send it to them in PDF or digital format.
I reprinted my subscription ticket, but I can't find it. How can I recover it?
You can find the ticket in My Personal Area, in the "Purchases" section, just below the Subscription Area.
How can I get to the Theatre?
NOTICE: Currently, it is not possible to drive down La Rambla towards the sea due to the start of the second phase of the promenade’s transformation. Only residents, buses, taxis, and vehicles accessing hotels and urban goods distribution (DUM) can drive uphill, following the schedule, between Colom and Plaça de Catalunya, on the Raval side.

Can I attend a rehearsal?
General rehearsals are usually closed to the public, but on some occasions, they are open to subscribers and other internal Theatre groups. In such cases, you will receive an email (a few days before the date) with the process to follow to acquire your ticket.
