The Córdoba-born tenor Pablo García-López is one of the rising talents of the lyric world. Praised by critics for his “unquestionable musicality, captivating the listener through the striking beauty of his natural emission, timbre, and intonation.” Particularly renowned for his refined Mozart interpretations, he is also highly sought after in both the Baroque and contemporary repertoire.
His recent performances in Spain’s leading theatres have led to international debuts at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, the Opéra de Lausanne, the Royal Opera House Muscat, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, and the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse. He has worked with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly, Jesús López-Cobos, and Susanna Mälkki.
He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2022/23 season with Il tabarro (Il trittico) and has returned with Madama Butterfly (2024/25).
