Born in Santander, he began his piano and singing studies at the conservatory in his hometown before moving to Madrid, where he graduated from the Escuela Superior de Canto. With a steadily rising artistic career, his repertoire includes operas such as Madama Butterfly (Pinkerton), La Bohème (Rodolfo), La Traviata (Alfredo), Carmen (Don José), Lucia di Lammermoor (Edgardo and Arturo), Otello (Cassio), Eugene Onegin (Lensky), Faust (Faust), Marina (Jorge), Viva la mamma (Guglielmo), Salome (Narraboth), and Manon Lescaut (Edmondo)..., which he has performed at venues and festivals such as Madrid’s Teatro Real, Barcelona’s Liceu, the opera seasons of Oviedo and Bilbao, the Teatro Calderón in Valladolid, Seville’s Maestranza, the Peralada Festival, the Palau de les Arts, as well as the auditoriums of Madrid and Barcelona.
Internationally, highlights include his debut at the Opernhaus Zürich in Roberto Devereux, as well as performances in venues across Chile, Colombia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, among other countries.
A regular performer of the zarzuela repertoire, he has appeared in productions such as Doña Francisquita, Juan José, La tabernera del puerto, Luisa Fernanda, Los gavilanes, Entre Sevilla y Triana, Cecilia Valdés, El huésped del sevillano, and Jugar con fuego..., especially at Madrid’s Teatro de la Zarzuela, but also in the opera seasons of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Oviedo, Córdoba, among others.
He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2017/18 season with Poliuto and returned in Doña Francisquita (2019/20).
