He began his studies at the National Conservatory of Music of Mexico. He was a scholarship holder at the International Society of Mexican Art Values, the Opera Studio of Bellas Artes, and the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo at the Palau de les Arts, and continued his training under the guidance of maestro Hector Sosa. With the Ópera de Bellas Artes, he has participated in productions such as Turandot, Rigoletto, La bohème, among others. He has won several awards in Mexico, including the Carlo Morelli National Singing Competition, first place at the Linus Lerner Competition, and second place at the Ópera de San Miguel Competition. In Spain, he won first place at the II Alcalá de Henares International Singing Competition. He has worked under the direction of renowned conductors such as Plácido Domingo, Nicola Luisotti, Roberto Abbado, among others. He has also collaborated with famous stage directors like Davide Livermore, David McVicar, and La Fura dels Baus, to name a few. 

He made his international debut at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in the opera Samson et Dalila. He has performed in theaters such as the Opéra National de Lorraine, Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, Palacio Euskalduna, Teatro Petruzzelli, among others.

He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2020/21 season with the concert version of La principessa filosofa and returned with Lady Macbeth de Mtsensk (2024/25).
