Alexei's career highlights include his upcoming debut as Boris in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk at Gran Teatre del Liceu and Philharmonie Luxembourg; Dolokhov in War and Peace and The Newspaper Clerk in The Nose at Bayerische Staatsoper, The Archbishop in The Maid of Orleans at Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Surin in Pikovaia Dama and as bass soloist in Les Noces by Stravinsky at Teatro alla Scala, Surin at Opera National de Lyon, Gavrila in War and Peace at Grand Théâtre de Genève, Varlaam in Boris Godunov at Zürich Opera, De Retz in Les Huguenots at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Ramfis in Aida at the Opéra Bastille and Deutsche Oper Berlin. Other recent engagements include Verdi's Requiem at Theater Vorpommern and Romanian National Opera, Colline in La bohème, Sparafucile in Rigoletto and Banco in Macbeth at National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Moldova, among others. A graduate of Zurich Opera Studio and the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau, Moldova. He is the 3rd prize winner at the Stanislaw Moniuszko Competition among other international vocal competitions. He makes his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
