Anaïs Masllorens is a regular presence in the programming of opera houses such as the Liceu, where she recently performed in El monstre al laberint. She has previously appeared in Adriana Lecouvreur by Cilea, Manon, Ariadne auf Naxos, and L’enigma di Lea.
Among the operatic roles she has performed are: Carmen, Moses und Aron, Rigoletto, Hänsel und Gretel, Cavalleria rusticana, La fille du régiment, El rey que rabió, and La Canterina, in various theaters across Spain, including Teatro Real in Madrid, Kursaal in San Sebastián, Palau de la Música in Valencia, the Auditorium of Sant Cugat, and the Auditorio Nacional, among others.
She has also been part of the Petit Liceu with children’s operas such as La ventafocs and Così fan tutte, and of the pedagogical workshops at Teatro Real with L’enfant et les sortilèges. She has worked under the baton of conductors such as J. Pons, L. Koenigs, P. Summers, E. García-Asensio, D. García, D. Puntos, E. Colomer, and P. Mielgo, among others. She combines her passion for opera with Lied, a field in which she has offered numerous recitals across the country, and oratorio, in which she has sung works such as Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Handel’s Messiah, Bruckner’s Te Deum, and Mozart’s Requiem, as well as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in the symphonic repertoire.
Born in Barcelona, she trained with D. Zajick and A. L. Chova. She has received coaching from S. Radvanovsky, J. Aragall, M. Caballé, O. Sala, and K. Widmer, among others.
