Born in Warsaw, he studied at the Conservatory of his hometown and began singing at the Chamber Opera of the same city at the National Theatre of Poland, where he made his debut in 2002 with Eugene Onegin.

Director Valery Gergiev invited him to perform the role of Prince Yeletsky (The Queen of Spades), as well as the title role in Eugene Onegin and Valentin (Faust).

Among his recent engagements, he made his debut at the San Francisco Opera performing Giorgio Germont (La traviata), Francesco (I masnadieri) at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Ashton (Lucia di Lammermoor) at Teatro Real in Madrid, and Count di Luna (Il trovatore) at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He also performed Luisa Miller in concert version at the Opéra Monte-Carlo.

Additionally, he has performed La traviata, Manon, and La bohème at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, among others. He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2009/10 season with Król Roger and returned with La bohème (2015/16), Il trovatore (2016/17), and Un ballo in maschera (2023/24).
