Juan Antonio Bayona's cinematic universe takes over the Liceu
The cinematic universe of the prestigious film director Juan Antonio Bayona, known worldwide for his spectacular productions, takes over the Gran Teatre del Liceu on December 8th with an extraordinary concert sponsored by CUPRA. In celebration of the premiere of his latest film, La sociedad de la nieve, the concert will be a unique opportunity to immerse in the atmosphere and emotion of the most iconic soundtracks from the director's films.
The music will come to life with the Symphonic Orchestra of Vallès conducted by the renowned maestro Fernando Velázquez, who is also the composer of the scores forThe Orphanage, The Impossible, and A Monster Calls. The celebrated composer Michael Giacchino is the composer of the memorable soundtracks for Jurassic World: Fallen kingdom and Society of the Snow. The Cor Madrigal of Barcelona will also participate in the performance of the score for Jurassic World: Fallen kingdom.
In the words of J.A. Bayona, the event "will be a memorable night in which we will relive the impact of my films through the powerful connection between their stories and the music."
