From Mocedades to El Consorcio

Talking about El Consorcio inevitably means referring to Mocedades, since all its members once belonged to that group. They are the only Spanish-speaking ensemble to have sold over one million copies of a single performed entirely in Spanish.

El Consorcio, formed by Estíbaliz Uranga, Amaya Uranga, Iñaki Uranga, and Carlos Zubiaga, is Spain’s premier vocal group, and their greatest hits remain timeless: “Tómame o déjame,” “El vendedor,” “La otra España,” “Qué pasará mañana,” “Secretaria,” “Quién te cantará,” “Desde que tú te has ido,” “Amor de hombre,” “Dónde estás corazón,” “Le llamaban loca”…

“Eres tú”, written by Juan Carlos Calderón, became one of their biggest hits, earning them, as Mocedades, second place at Eurovision 1973.

Their magnificent voices and unmatched quality led them to win a Latin Grammy Award in 2016.
