The duo is characterized by a sound that blends psychedelic western with instrumental music of Latin roots
The acclaimed Swiss-Ecuadorian duo Hermanos Gutiérrez confirms their return to Spain with two exclusive dates next August. Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez, masters in creating instrumental soundscapes, will bring their unique sound to La Riviera in Madrid on August 29 and to the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona on August 30.
While their previous works evoked the vastness of the land and the dust of the road, Sonido Cósmico marks an evolution toward infinity. Under the production of Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), the duo has woven a tapestry of lush musical landscapes. This new work retains the essence of the brothers’ Latin roots, elevating it through a dialogue between guitars that is both deep and spiritual.
The success of the Hermanos Gutiérrez lies in their ability to tell stories without words. The interplay between Estevan and Alejandro’s guitars is almost telepathic—a dance of strings that reaches new heights of complexity and beauty in Sonido Cósmico.
After selling out shows in major cities around the world, the duo returns to Spain to offer one of the most hypnotic and unique listening experiences of today.
