On April 2, 2025, the Winners' Gala of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas will take place for the first time, an exceptional event that will bring the best of flamenco to Barcelona. On this unique night, the winners of the 2024 edition in La Unión will showcase their mastery in dance, singing, guitar, and flamenco instrumentation.

El Yiyo, born in Barcelona, is one of the greatest revelations in flamenco dance. At just 28 years old, he has captivated national and international stages with his electrifying style, where elegance and strength intertwine in every movement. His art, overflowing with magnetism, promises an unforgettable performance.

Daniel Casares, a renowned guitarist from Málaga, will bring his virtuosity to the evening. At just 16 years old, he became the youngest winner of the prestigious Bordón Minero award in La Unión, a milestone that marked the beginning of a brilliant career. Since then, he has collaborated with great flamenco figures and left his mark on stages worldwide, establishing himself as an undisputed reference in flamenco guitar.

La Yunko, winner of the Desplante Femenino award, will dazzle with her strength and dedication in dance. Jesús Corbacho, recipient of the coveted Lámpara Minera trophy, will envelop us with his deep singing, full of emotion and nuance. Joni Jiménez, distinguished with the Bordón Minero award, will captivate us with his virtuosity on the guitar, while José 'El Marqués', winner of the Filón trophy, will deliver a moving performance on the flamenco cello.

Since its creation in 1961, the Festival del Cante de las Minas has established itself as a global benchmark for flamenco. Held annually in the mining town of La Unión, in the Region of Murcia, this prestigious competition has been both the cradle and springboard for great flamenco artists, preserving the essence and authenticity of Cantes Mineros and Cantes de Levante, which have been declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Interest.

This first Winners' Gala is a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the talent that keeps the greatness of flamenco alive.
