Born in Zaragoza, Javier Agudo began studying violin at the age of six in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. At the age of 17, he started his vocal studies and joined the Youth Choir of the Community of Madrid. Later, he was admitted to the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid (ESCM) and completed his studies at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki (Finland) and the Bel Canto Academy in Pergine (Italy). In 2022, he participated in the second edition of the Crescendo program at the Teatro Real. Despite his youth, Agudo already has in his repertoire roles such as Guglielmo from Così fan tutte, Slook from Rossini's La cambiale di matrimonio, Lucifer from Handel's La Resurrezione, Simone from Gianni Schicchi, Masetto from Don Giovanni, and Dandini from La cenerentola, among others. His performances span major theaters in Finland (Music Hall, Finnish National Opera...), China (Beijing and Shanghai), South Korea... and in Spain, at the National Auditorium of Music, Teatros del Canal, the Kursaal in San Sebastián, etc. His recent appearances include the premiere of the work La muerte y el industrial by Fernández Guerra at the Fundación March in Madrid and at the Espacio Turina in Seville. He makes his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
