Born in Sioux City (Iowa), he launched his international career in Cologne in 1997 in the role of Fenton (Falstaff), with James Conlon on the podium.
The tenor John Osborn was chosen by Amics del Liceu as the best male singer of the 2015/16 season for his performance in Benvenuto Cellini, the first opera he sang at the Liceu. He paid us a return visit in Les pêcheurs de perles (2018/19) and performs frequently in cities such as London, Paris, Rome, New York, Brussels, Zurich, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, Munich, Milan, San Francisco and Chicago.
