Un projecte global a l'entorn dels nostres espectacles
Liceu in Schools is a program that encompasses all the projects we carry out with educational centers with which we establish a specific partnership.
In these schools, the Liceu has a direct and ongoing impact over time through teacher training and activities with students. The partnership with these educational centers involves developing a joint project centered around one of our performances.
The core objectives of these projects are:
Support these educational centers so that music and the performing arts can have a greater presence and impact in the life of the school.
Make the experience of the performance they will attend more enriching.
Inspire learning, expression, and creativity in connection with the performance they will see.
We develop the Liceu in Schools program in various contexts, some in collaboration with other organizations, such as the Fundació Nous Cims – Programa Komtü, the Fundació Bofill – Programa Magnet, or the Fundació Tot Raval – Programa Apadrina el teu equipament.
In addition to these collaborative projects, the Liceu, as an accessibility initiative, promotes the Liceu in Schools project in rural areas of Catalonia, where distance and local context limit access to our activities and other cultural opportunities.
The project has been developed in Les Terres de l’Ebre, Lleida–Les Garrigues, and Ripollès, with participation from all the schools in each comarca.
The requirement to take part in this program is the involvement of the entire educational center.
We like to think that our performances, in addition to the enjoyment and positive experiences we hope they bring to children and young people on the day they attend the theatre, can become valuable learning frameworks. Experiencing a performance can be both an individual and collective opportunity to feel, listen, think, and learn—if it is integrated into a broader process. This process begins before visiting the Liceu, when we generate excitement, anticipation, and knowledge to experience a special event, and continues with all the themes and insights that the performance itself can suggest and inspire.
Who is it aimed at?
Educational centers to which the proposal is offered, and which must participate in its entirety.
