Of Galician origin, he has sung in theaters across Europe and the United States, performing roles such as Selim (Il turco in Italia), Gellner (La Wally), Scarpia (Tosca), Leporello (Don Giovanni), Sulpice (La fille du régiment), Dulcamara (L’elisir d’amore), Luna (Il trovatore), Germont (La traviata), Monforte (I vespri siciliani), Carlo (La forza del destino), Amonasro (Aida), Iago (Otello), Barnaba (La Gioconda), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Roque (Marina), as well as Nabucco, Macbeth, Rigoletto, Simon Boccanegra, and Falstaff.

With an extensive career in the world of zarzuela, he has performed in titles such as Luisa Fernanda, Los gavilanes, La rosa del azafrán, La del manojo de rosas, Black el payaso, La tabernera del puerto, Don Manolito, El caserío, La parranda, La leyenda del beso, La del Soto del Parral, and La Gran Vía.

He has also participated in the world premieres of El canto de los volcanes and La marimba arrecha, both by Álvarez del Toro, and Fuenteovejuna (Jorge Muñiz).

He debuted at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2006/07 season with Thaïs and returned with La Gioconda (2018/19) and Adriana Lecouvreur (2023/24).
