Milan Perišić

Born in Novi Sad (Serbia), he studied composition at the Academy of Arts in his hometown and singing at the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. He has won first prize in the international competitions "Compostela Lírica," "Josep Palet," "Les Corts," and "BA Lírica." He also received second prize in the "Nuevas Voces" competition in Seville, "Bellano, Paese degli Artisti," and "Ciudad de Logroño, La Rioja."

In 2024, he made his baritone debut in Carmina Burana with the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra and later toured Spain’s most important concert halls with ADDA Sinfónica and the Orfeón Donostiarra. Notable roles include Lescaut in Manon Lescaut and Marcello in La Bohème as part of the Fundació Òpera Catalunya season. In 2025, he continues with new debuts, performing as a Député flamand in Don Carlo at the Opéra National de Paris, Malatesta in Don Pasquale at the Teatre Principal de Palma, and Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro with the FÒC.

In 2025, he returns to the Gran Teatre del Liceu to perform the role of Bernardo in West Side Story. Also noteworthy is his participation in the European premiere of John Adams’ opera Antony & Cleopatra under the baton of the composer himself (2023).

At the Teatro Real, he has performed the roles of Lacayo, Ivan Ivanovich, and Student in Barrie Kosky’s production of Shostakovich’s The Nose. He has worked with conductors such as Giacomo Sagripanti, Jordi Savall, Henrik Nánási, and Mark Wigglesworth, as well as stage directors Barrie Kosky, Elkhanah Pulitzer, and Calixto Bieito.
