We walk down Las Ramblas and enter the Liceu. We trade the city noises for a space that invites us to return to our origins.
Miralls is a performance of great musical and aesthetic sensitivity that accompanies children on a symbolic journey from self-discovery to experimentation with the elements of nature. From encountering the differences of others to becoming aware that together we are part of a greater whole. Through dance and a carefully selected musical program, Miralls offers the young audience a sensory experience of connection and closeness. Contrasting sounds, such as electric guitar and saxophone or clarinet with a classical voice, naturally dialogue, transforming operatic pieces into other registers and styles. Miralls aims to captivate children from a place of delicacy, beauty, and calm. A necessary show in a fast-paced and stimulus-filled world.
