The German tenor Stefan Vinke studied religious music, education and singing at the Musikhochschule in Cologne
He has sung in cities including Berlin, Chicago, Geneva, Hamburg, London, Munich, Paris, Seattle and Venice and at the Salzburg and Bayreuth Festivals and has worked with such eminent conductors as Adam Fischer, Philippe Jordan, James Levine, Fabio Luisi, Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Sir Simon Rattle. His repertory spans all the main roles in the German repertory.
At the Liceu he has performed in two operas by Wagner: Siegfried (2014/15) and Tristan und Isolde (2017/18).
