The Teatre-Auditori Emma Vilarasau Sant Cugat and the Gran Teatre del Liceu have renewed their collaboration agreement for the 2026-2027 season, continuing a stable relationship that began in 2010.
The agreement has been signed by the mayor of Sant Cugat, Josep Maria Vallès, and the general director of the Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu, Valentí Oviedo.

Within the framework of this agreement, the Teatre-Auditori Emma Vilarasau Sant Cugat will host several initiatives throughout the season:

  • Stage and musical productions linked to the Liceu, with the participation of the Orchestra and the Chorus in the regular programme.

  • Performances by IT Dansa, which will return to Sant Cugat with a new artistic residency and performances open to the public.

  • Artistic and technical residencies for productions of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, consolidating the Teatre-Auditori as a collaborating venue.

  • Educational activities within the framework of the Liceu’s educational programme, aimed at the municipality’s schools.

The renewal of the agreement consolidates a long-standing collaboration that has made it possible to generate a high-quality cultural offer of public interest for Sant Cugat del Vallès.
With this agreement, both institutions reaffirm their willingness to continue working together to facilitate access to culture and strengthen ties with the different audiences of the region.
