The Gran Teatre del Liceu’s streaming platform, Liceu OPERA+, now offers all the content from the 2024/2025 digital season. Users can enjoy in high quality and from anywhere operas such as La traviata, starring Nadine Sierra and Javier Camarena, Lohengrin, with Miina-Liisa Värelä and Klaus Florian Vogt, and La sonnambula, featuring Nadine Sierra and Xabier Anduaga.
This summer, Liceu OPERA+ offers a complete operatic experience to enjoy from home: access to 6 major productions of the season, with exclusive features like multi-camera selection, subtitles, artistic and musical commentary, and on-screen score tracking. All of this makes the platform a pioneering venture in international opera and classical music streaming.
The digital subscription is offered at a promotional price of €60 until July 31. After this date, the cost will be €90 for the entire season. With the subscription, viewers can access titles from this season and the next as they become available.
The number of subscribers has grown exponentially: from 1,000 in July 2021 to over 7,000 today, representing an increase of more than 600% when comparing these two paid user figures. This growth consolidates the Liceu’s digital project as a stable and accessible gateway to opera for both loyal audiences and new viewers.

The 24/25 season includes titles such as Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Madama Butterfly, La traviata, Lohengrin, La sonnambula, and Rusalka. Each is presented in a special edited version following its live broadcast from the Theatre.

Preview of the 25/26 season
The digital season for the next season will premiere on September 30, 2025, with The Cunning Little Vixen. It will be followed by five more titles: L'elisir d'amore (12/05/25), Tristan und Isolde (01/31/26), La Gioconda (02/26/26), Manon Lescaut (03/29/26), and Le nozze di Figaro (06/13/26). Digital subscribers will be able to enjoy the live broadcast of the opera and, about a month later, a special edited version.

Liceu OPERA+ expands the operatic experience and helps make opera accessible to everyone by breaking down barriers such as geographical distance and cost. Additionally, next season, the platform will include historic titles from El Petit Liceu and new productions that will be announced throughout the year
