
He started the 2019/20 season at the Wexford Festival, performing as Sancho Panza (Don Quichotte), followed by his portrayal of Friedrich von Telramund (Lohengrin) at the Prague State Opera in Eva Wagner's new production. He also made his debut at the English National Opera in London, singing the role of Miller (Luisa Miller).
Recently, he debuted the role of Wozzeck at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, and also performed the title role in Der fliegende Holländer. At the Göteborgsoperan, he sang Alberich (the Ring Cycle) conducted by Evan Rogister, in a new production by Stephen Langridge. He has also portrayed Falstaff at Opera Omaha (Nebraska) and Rigoletto at Minnesota Opera in Minneapolis. His repertoire also includes roles such as Scarpia (Tosca) and The Colonel (Brothers), which he performed in the world premiere of Daníel Bjarnason's work, staged by Kasper Holten.
He makes his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
