He has performed at the world’s leading opera houses, including the Wiener Staatsoper, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House in London, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, and the Aix-en-Provence Festival, among others.
His repertoire stands out for his interpretations of Mozart, Rossini, and Donizetti, with roles such as Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro and Il barbiere di Siviglia), Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Don Giovanni, Guglielmo and Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte), Dandini and Don Magnifico (La cenerentola), Belcore and Dulcamara (L’elisir d’amore), Sulpice (La fille du régiment), Malatesta (Don Pasquale), and the title role in Verdi's Falstaff.
His engagements this season include his first zarzuela, Marina, at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, before debuting in Gianni Schicchi at the New National Theatre in Tokyo. He will then return to La Scala in Milan for Opera Seria, to the Zurich Opera for the title role in Don Pasquale, to Las Palmas with Madame Butterfly, and in the summer of 2025 to the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro for a revival of Il turco in Italia, as Selim.
He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2004/05 season with La gazzetta. He has since returned with La fille du régiment (2009/10), Linda di Chamounix (2011/12), Il turco in Italia (2012/13), Così fan tutte (2014/15), and Il viaggio a Reims (2017/18).
