He made his debut in Turin in Turandot by Zang Yimou in 1999, followed by debuts in Dublin (Norma in 2003, Tosca in 2004), Amsterdam (Rigoletto 2004) and Venice (Parsifal 2005). Since then, he has been regularly invited to some of the most prestigious European theaters and festivals.
His repertoire spans from 18th-century comic opera (L'impresario in angustie by Cimarosa, La finta semplice and Bastiano e Bastiana by Mozart, Il filosofo di campagna by Galuppi), to French operetta (Offenbach), and 20th-century Italian (I quatro rusteghi by Wolf-Ferrari, Volo di notte by Dallapiccola) and international repertoire (A Midsummer Night's Dream by Benjamin Britten).
