Praised for her impressive artistry and plush voice, Sara Jakubiak is widely acclaimed for her performances across the world’s leading stages. Jakubiak is recognized for her command of a uniquely diverse repertoire: Chrysothemis (Elektra), Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Marta (The Passenger), and title roles in Francesca da Rimini, Ariadne auf Naxos, and Das Wunder der Heliane. Last Season 2023/24, Jakubiak made her role debut as Die Kaiserin at Opéra de Lyon, as Sieglinde in a concert performance of Die Walküre with Dallas Symphony Orchestra, as well as her house debut as Ariadne at Teatro la Fenice in Venice. She returned to Royal Opera House as Chrysothemis. Next Season 2024/25, Jakubiak makes her role debut as Katerina in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk at Gran Teatre del Liceu, followed by her role debut as Liza in Pique Dame at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Autumn 2024, Jakubiak reprises Sieglinde for another concert performance with Dallas Symphony Orchestra. In the Spring of 2025, she reprises the role of Die Kaiserin at Dutch National Opera in a new production by Katie Mitchell under Maestro Albrecht. Jakubiak completed her studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Yale University. She makes her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
