This concert pays tribute to the Da Camera Association, a fundamental initiative in Barcelona's musical life. Inspired by one of its historic concerts, held on December 15, 1933, it offers a journey from classicism to modernity, highlighting the richness of the string trio. From the structured elegance of Joseph Haydn to the expressive depth of Franz Schubert, the program culminates with the energy and freshness of Jean Françaix, whose trio was written in the same year as that 1933 concert. A fascinating dialogue between eras that invites the audience to rediscover the beauty and versatility of this ensemble.
