Bass born in Durazno (Uruguay), he studied at the Escuela Nacional de Arte Lírico of SODRE in Montevideo with Amelia Veiga, at the Instituto Superior de Arte of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires with Mónica Philibert and Luis Gaeta, and at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid with Ryland Davies. He later completed his training at the Notre-Dame School in Paris with Rosa Domínguez and at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid.

As a soloist, he has performed the roles of Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte and Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro in staged productions with orchestra, as well as Sarastro at the Berlin Opera Academy. His repertoire also includes Sparafucile in Rigoletto and Colline in La bohème, from which he has performed excerpts in concert at the Teatro Colón.

He has taken part in concerts and productions at SODRE, Teatro Solís, Teatro Colón, Teatro Real and ADDA Alicante. Throughout his career he has received masterclasses from Ruggero Raimondi, Margreet Honig, Alicia Nafé and Franca Matiucci.

Since April 2024 he has been a member of the Chorus of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
