His most recent roles include Schaunard in La bohème, Graf Dominik in Arabella, the lead role in Jakob Lenz by Rihm at the Opernhaus Zürich, Ein deutsches Requiem by Brahms with the Bamberger Symphoniker, Ercole in L'Ercole amante with Il Gusto Barocco, Jesus in Bach's St. John Passion at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam with René Jacobs, Adonis in Kusser's Adonis at the Stuttgart Barock Festival, Raphael/Adam in Haydn's The Creation at the Theater Basel, as well as Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Brandenburger Symphoniker at the Berliner Philharmonie.
Yannick's appearances in the current season include the lead role in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo at the Berliner Philharmonie and the Philharmonie de Paris, Brahms's Ein deutsches Requiem, Handel's Alexander’s Feast with Barucco & Choir Ad Libitum at Brucknerhaus Linz, Carmina Burana and Handel's Messiah with the Basel Chamber Orchestra, as well as Bach's St. Matthew Passion at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, and the Alte Oper Frankfurt.
He makes his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
