The South Korean tenor Yonghoon Lee, who has performed in major cities such as London, New York, Berlin, Vienna and Milan, now makes his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu. Soon after his first professional engagement, as Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca) in Berlin, the foremost opera houses in Europe and America opened their doors to him. Acclaimed as one of the great tenors of his generation, he has been pursuing a flourishing career in roles that also include Radamès (Aida), Manrico (Il trovatore), Don Alvaro (La forza del destino) and Don José (Carmen).
