He has performed at the theatres of Vienna, Zurich, Hamburg, Munich, Rome, Madrid, and Barcelona, as well as at the Salzburg, Garsington, and Pesaro festivals, among others. Very active in contemporary repertoire, he recently took part in the world premieres of Les bienveillantes by Hèctor Parra and L’enigma di Lea by Benet Casablancas, both of which featured roles written specifically for him. 

He has worked under the baton of conductors such as Bolton, Heras-Casado, López Cobos, Luisi, Minkowski, Muti, Pons, Savall, Weigle, and Zedda. In concert, he has appeared at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, and at the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna. 

As a recitalist, his repertoire highlights include German Lied and Catalan art song. He has recorded for the Harmonia Mundi and Unitel Classica labels. 

He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2002/03 season with Il viaggio a Reims, returning many times since, most recently for Così fan tutte (2014/15), El pessebre (2015/16), Mozart’s Requiem (2016/17), Roméo et Juliette (2017/18), L’enigma di Lea (2018/19), the concert Myth and Tragedy of Electra and Oedipus, Pikovaya Dama (2021/22), the Roger Alier Tribute Concert (2023/24), Benjamin a Portbou (2024/25) and The Cunning Little Vixen (2025/26).
