Emőke Baráth quickly attracted the attention of the musical world by becoming a prizewinner in several prestigious competitions – First Prize in the Cesti Competition in Innsbruck, Grand Prix de l'Académie du Verbier Festival, Prix Junio Prima Primissima in Hungary, etc. Her career took off when she sang Sesto in Handel's Giulio Cesare conducted by Alan Curtis. A little later, she made a dazzling debut at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence in the title role of Cavalli's Elena.

In the 2024/2025 season Baráth will be performing Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare by Giacommelli in Innsbruck with Ottavio Dantone; Ginevra by Ariodante at Opera du Rhin with Christopher Moulds; Haydn's Seasons with Ádám Fischer in Copenhagen; Maria Maddalena in La Resurrezione in Paris Theatre des Champs Elysées with Julien Chauvin and Le Concert de la Loge, then The Messiah by Händel with Hervé Niquet and Le Concert Spirituel; Dixit Dominus by Händel and Magnificat by Bach with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Emmanuelle Haïm; Mozart concerts with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic; the title role of La Merope de Terraladas with Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin and Francesco Corti on European tour.

She made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2023/24 season with Orlando paladino.
