Russian tenor Maxim Mironov started his career by winning the prominent international singing competition “Neue Stimmen” in Germany and today he is considered to be one of the best belcanto tenors.

Born in Tula, and a graduate of the Moscow’s Gnessin State Musical College in a class of Professor Dmitry Vdovin, he then joined the Helikon Opera Theatre of Moscow, making his operatic debut in André Gréty’s Pierre le Grand in 2002.

Since his debut, Maxim has performed in many prestigious stages across the world including; Vienna State Opera, Teatro alla Scala Milan, Opéra National and Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Teatro Real Madrid, Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, Staatsoper Hamburg, Semperoper Dresden. In Italy he has been regular guest at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and he has been acclaimed also at Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, Teatro La Fenice di Venezia. In the United States, he made his debut at the Los Angeles Opera for Il turco in Italia to great acclaim and returned to America for La cenerentola with Washington National Opera, and Orfeo ed Eurydice again at Los Angeles Opera.

He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2018/19 season with L’italiana in Algeri.
