Nearly 2,000 young people aged 18 to 35 filled the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia for a special Requiem concert by Mozart, an initiative led by the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Sagrada Familia to bring classical music closer to new generations. This exclusive event for the Under35 community took place the day before the staged production's premiere at the Liceu, becoming a unique experience blending architecture, spirituality, music, and art.

Under the musical direction of maestro Giovanni Antonini, the Liceu Symphony Orchestra led the concert, accompanied by a quartet of internationally renowned soloists: Emőke Baráth, Marina Viotti, Levy Sekgapane, and Nicola Ulivieri. This symphonic performance featured a full rendition of Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, KV.626 (1791), in an exceptional setting like the Sagrada Familia.
The Gran Teatre del Liceu Choir, conducted by Pablo Assante, played a central role in the concert, with a constant presence that added strength and exceptional expressiveness to the performance.
