Born in Sabadell, he received vocal training from Carlos Chausson and has taken lessons with masters such as Jaume Aragall, Eva Mei, Matthias Goerne, Mariella Devia, and Plácido Domingo. After earning a PhD in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), he made his operatic debut in Sabadell as Leporello (Don Giovanni), and was later selected for the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia.
He has performed the roles of Leporello and Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Dulcamara and Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), the Sacristan (Tosca), Martino (L’occasione fa il ladro), the Magnate (La gata perduda), Silvio (Pagliacci), Escamillo (Carmen), among others.
In the oratorio field, he has sung works such as Falla’s El retablo de maese Pedro, Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Casals’ El pesebre, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, and the Passions by J.S. Bach.
He has worked under the baton of conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Marc Minkowski, Susanna Mälkki, and Plácido Domingo. He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2021/22 season with Die Zauberflöte, and returned with La gata perduda, Gianni Schicchi, and Manon (2022/23), and La traviata (2024/25).
