Born in Barcelona, he studied singing with Maria Dolors Aldea, piano and chamber music with Antoni Besses and Àngel Soler, and percussion with Xavier Joaquím. From 1994 to 1996, he studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he completed a postgraduate course in Oratorio and Lied with masters Mark Wildman, Iain Ledingham, Robert Spencer, and Paul Esswood, obtaining the Advanced Diploma with honors. Concurrently, he earned the Performer’s Diploma at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He has received master classes from Robert Tier, Joan Pons, Kemal Khan, and Paul Schilawsky. He has worked with conductors such as Philippe Herreweghe, Jordi Savall, Gustav Leonhardt, Jordi Casas, Josep Pons, Manel Valdivieso, James Ross, and Ernest Martínez Izquierdo, among others.
He has performed, among others, the following works: L'incoronazione di Poppea by Monteverdi; Dido and Aeneas by Purcell; Giulio Cesare, Apollo and Daphne by Händel; Così fan tutte (Guglielmo) and Die Zauberflöte (Papageno); La Serva Padrona by Pergolesi; and Il barbiere di Siviglia (Bartolo) by Rossini. He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2022/23 season with Manon.
