On the occasion of the upcoming 2025-2026 Season, the Friends of the Liceu have organized an exclusive roundtable where the artistic director of the Liceu, Víctor García de Gomar, and the president of the Friends of the Liceu, Jaume Graell, will share with the Friends all the details of the new season.

This session will be a unique opportunity to learn about the novelties and main attractions of the program, as well as to gain insight into the artistic and strategic project that will define the upcoming months at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

Jaume Graell president Amics del Liceu

Jaume Graell holds a doctorate in Medicine, specializing in Rheumatology. He has been the Head of Rheumatology at the Prínceps d’Espanya Hospital and the Dexeus Institute, among others. He is the director of the Catalan Institute of Rheumatology in Barcelona and Fibromadrid in Madrid.

President of Pro-Lírica, he organized the summer nights in Peratallada until 2002, with top-level singers. He is the vice president of the Franz Schubert Association. He has been vice president of the Friends of the Liceu since 2014 and is currently its president.

Víctor Garcia

Víctor García de Gomar is the artistic director of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, where he leads the musical and operatic programming. With a background in musicology, he has worked in various international theatres and festivals, known for his innovative vision and commitment to the promotion of classical music. His work at the Liceu has been recognized for his ability to blend classics with contemporary proposals, maintaining artistic excellence and a close connection with the audience.
